About Us
The Long-nying Chöling Foundation is an officially registered entity under the Commission for Religious Organizations of Bhutan (CRO), also known as “Choedey Lhentshog,” with the registration number CRO/RC-24/2024/142. As outlined in the Constitution of Bhutan, our foundation is dedicated to promoting the spiritual heritage of Bhutan which is deeply rooted in the Vajrayana Buddhism.
Purpose
The foundation operates under the guidelines of the Religious Organizations Act (RO Act) of Bhutan 2007, adhering to the principles set forth in Article 3, Section 1 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Our efforts are guided by core values such as peace, non-violence, compassion, and tolerance. We ensure that no income or profit is distributed among members, directors, or trustees, reinforcing our commitment to the benefit of religious institutes and the preservation of spiritual heritage.
